We considered introducing the product following a request from our supervisor to manage products using water activity. Since we had previously been introduced to it at an exhibition, we were able to form a clear usage image. After comparing and evaluating it with other companies’ products, we selected it because it was the easiest to use and could be operated by anyone.

The sample container is compact and made of PP material, making it easy to handle and convenient for daily use. In addition, the compact size of the main unit allows it to be placed directly inside a 25°C incubator, which reduces the influence of ambient temperature and was also a key factor in our decision to adopt the product. Furthermore, the simple operation enables anyone to obtain consistent measurements, which is a major advantage.
At present, we are in the stage of collecting data while considering whether to formally adopt water activity as a testing parameter. Therefore, we are currently measuring bulk powder products.
