DPD reagent tablets for the DPD method (100 tablets)
- For monitoring free residual chlorine concentration in tap water and swimming pool water
- Measurement range: Free residual chlorine 0.1–2.0 mg/L
- Tablet-type reagent, convenient for use in outdoor environments
- The reagent is dispensed by pushing it out from an aluminum blister sheet, minimizing direct contact and allowing easy handling even with wet hands
- Same colorimetric principle as the diethyl-p-phenylenediamine (DPD) method used in standard sanitary testing methods
- Color development: light reddish-purple to reddish-purple

| Note | This reagent is specifically designed for residual chlorine testers using the DPD method. It cannot be used with spectrophotometers (such as AQ-201 /AQ-201P) or with residual chlorine testers for medium concentration range. ※ Measurements around 0.1 mg/L may be affected by the effervescent agent contained in the tablet. ※ This reagent is not suitable for samples containing high levels of impurities (e.g., bath water from natural hot springs) or for applications that require confirmation of zero residual chlorine (e.g., water for dialysis). |
