| Note | The Particle Generator is a portable ultrasonic humidifier. Use this Particle Generator with our Salt Tablets to creat NaCl aerosol and a necessary amount of particles in the atmosphere for SIBATA Fit Testers to work properly. If the ambient air contains enough particles, the particle generator is not required. However, if the number of atmospheric particles is too low, the ratio of the particle number concentration outside to that inside the facepiece will be small. This may cause the tester to fail the fit test even if a respirator provides a right fit. Fit Tester MT-05U usually requires this additional particle generation while Fit Tester MT-11D will only need it when the tester is used in a very clean room.
